Dr. Jones is an assistant professor at East Tennessee State University in the Department of Biological Sciences. He is primarily a behavioral ecologist, studying the evolution of social behavior in spiders. His work includes a mix of field and laboratory experiments and theoretical modeling, exploring both the adaptive significance and neuro-chemical underpinnings of social behavior. Dr. Jones teaches Introductory Biology III (Ecology & Evolution), Invertebrate Zoology, Arachnology, and Behavioral Ecology.
